Hey!
Thanks for checking out my blog.
I’m Scott, a skeptical optimist, measured creative, and insatiably curious soul living in Seattle, WA. I love mountains, basketball courts, and conversations that open my mind. I’m the type of person who actively thinks about my 10-year plan…life of the party, you know?
That’s a big reason why I married my partner, Kylie. She keeps me balanced me with risk and levity. Without her I may have stayed in finance, not swam in Antarctica, and not started a plant-based diet. Thanks, Ky.
I’m writing this blog to talk about startups and the perpetual re-wiring necessary to scale teams, aggregate culture, and unlock new growth.
I’ll work to uncover new truths through reflection, hesitation, and alteration – the little moments of self-discovery that guide the road ahead.
Along the way I’m excited to be wrong, right, and work to discern the difference. I believe in progression, not perfection, and moving forward with purpose.
After all, growth is intentional.
What I do
Build Growth Machines
My “why” is to help others reach their full potential. That’s what building a growth machine is all about: investing in the inputs that maximize the desired output. If that motivates you too, read my posts and let me know what you think.
Advise Startups
Startups = Growth. And growth doesn’t happen by accident. I help SaaS companies between $1M-$50M ARR reach their next growth stage by aligning the right value and monetization levers. Want to work together? Get in touch below.
